THE COST OF PLAYING
Golf differs from other professional sports in that the athlete independently funds their entire career. This includes everything from entry fees, flights, rental cars, hotels and food while on the road. A full season can cost upwards of $40K, and at the mini tour level it can be hard to breakeven given the smaller purse sizes week in and week out.
THE NEED FOR SPONSORS
